Jkkmobile has posted a video demonstrating using DC-Unlocker (aka Data Card Unlocker) to unlock the 3G card inside Sony's extra tiny VAIO P "dont call it a netbook" netbook. Unlocking will allow you to activate the 3G card inside the device with the network of your choosing, and possibly without a contract, depending upon the carrier you choose. The DC-Unlocker software costs about $20 which will allow you to unlock up to three different data cards, and additional credits can be purchased to unlock more devices. In addition to unlocking the 3G card, the DC-Unlocker also allows you to upgrade the flash memory on the card, enabling new features.
