Janko Roettgers at NewTeeVee discovered hidden pages featuring HD TV episode downloads on Amazon's Video on Demand website. We know you're not surprised that Amazon would plan to offer this stuff, but we probably have price info now!
If the leak correlates to the reality when the new downloads launch, each HD episode will sell for $2.99, with a complete season going for $52.62. That's almost exactly what you'll pay at Apple's competing (and far better established) iTunes service, which has been offering HD TV shows for several weeks now. In fact, iTunes just added HD movie purchases last week at 20 bucks a pop.
Amazon hasn't officially announced anything just yet, but keep your eyes glued to the screen if this is something you're excited about. Any day now, one can hope!
