YouTube mobile application comes to Windows Mobile and Nokia S60 phones

Although a YouTube mobile application has been available to a wide swath of phone users for the past year or so, to date Windows Mobile and Nokia S60 users have been stuck without a dedicated app. Today the application was updated to add support and optimization for Windows Mobile devices and a number of Symbian Series S60 devices, specifically 3rd edition (Feature Pack 1 and Feature Pack 2) phones. In addition, the application is reportedly up to 90% faster in startup, searching and loading video, with better quality adjusted automagically whether you're on 3G or Wi-Fi. Google says more improvements and features are on the way, with in-app notifications and one-click upgrades when they roll out.
