If you've ever spotted a typo right after you clicked the send button and you use Google's free web-mail, Gmail, there's a new GMail Labs add-on that gives you a slight buffer during which you can unsend the message. You have to go to your settings tab in Gmail, then choose the Gmail Labs option and make sure Gmail Labs are activated on your account. Once that's done you should find Undo Send by Yuzo F as one of the options you can activate. Select Enable next to Undo Send and then save your preferences (as pictured below). The next time you send an email, once the "Your message has been sent" message pops up, there will be an Undo link which will allow you to "unsend" the email if you click it within five seconds (pictured above).

The message isn't actually "unsent," but rather, the plugin holds the outgoing message in a waiting area for about five seconds before sending the message off. It's not a lot of time but it's perfect for a quick undo, if you, like me, have accidently touched your touch-sensitive touchpad on your laptop and accidently engaged the send button unintentionally. If for some reason, you lose your internet connection or your computer shuts down while the Undo button is still hovering there, don't worry. The message will still be sent.
