Have you always wanted a totally useless secondary screen facing out from the logo on the back of your MacBook? Well, this guy beat you to building it.

We don't normally feature hacks and mods here on Obsessable, but this one is both particularly useless and particularly cool, so we thought we'd give you a look at it. You'll find the full video embedded below of a black last generation MacBook which has had a second LCD monitor installed where the glowing Apple logo normally appears.

Why would anyone want such a small and oddly-shaped screen? Well, from the video, we get to see it doing two really cool, albeit pretty useless things. The screen can be used to display iTunes Visualizer while listening to music on the MacBook, which could definitely be a neat trick for DJs performing at a show. It can also be used to display what the MacBook's iSight is currently filming to give a sort of invisible / see-through effect. In the end, it's just a regular, albeit small and partially covered, display, so you could stream videos or anything else on it. Check out the video below and let us know what you think in the comments.
