Eye-Fi announced an expected upgrade to their line of SD memory cards today, increasing the storage to 4 GB and adding support for video uploads over W-Fi as well as photos taken with your digital camera. If you're not familiar with the devices, the Eye-Fi cards offer an extremely easy way to add wireless image uploading (and now video) to any digital camera; the Eye-Fi web portal works behind the scenes to send those images and videos to any of 20 different media sharing sites automatically.

The new Eye-Fi Share Video SDHC card will retail for $79 while the Eye-Fi Explore Video adds geotagging support for $99, with both hitting retail stores later in March. Prices on the original cards will drop accordingly, to $49 for the 2 GB Eye-Fi Home and $59 for the Eye-Fi Share, with the original Eye-Fi Explore being dropped altogether.

We had a chance to get a demo of the new video uploading functionality back at CES 2009, which worked quickly and intuitively to get videos from your camera straight to the web with no fuss; check after the continued link for a video of the new features in action.
