New instructions have shown up on the site on how to purchase a video.

It looks like in addition to allowing you to download videos, YouTube is going to start letting you purchase them as well. New instructions have shown up in YouTube's Help section detailing how to purchase a video download, and a new "Purchased Videos" section has been added to each user's account page.

Videos were previously available for purchase from Google Video. Google (who also owns YouTube) discontinued video uploads to the service last month, so this could just be a move to port some of those customers over to YouTube from Google Video.

We couldn't find any videos this morning actually for sale on the site, so there's no telling telling how much a download will cost you when they do become available.
