It's a Lego cell phone. Kind of speaks for itself, doesn't it?

An electronics company called Alcatel made a deal with Lego to produce a handful of kid-targetted Lego gadgets, but the initial announcement didn't include this device. This render of a Lego cell phone was leaked to the Boy Genius Report, and it appears to be a regular ol' candy bar form factor cell phone, except that it's supposed to look like it's made out of Legos, and it has interchangeable, snap-on, Lego-style faceplates in a variety of colors.

There's absolutely no information out there about how much this will cost or when and where it will be available yet, but chances are it will be cheap — under $100. Don't expect any fancy features besides the faceplates. Just appreciate it for its simplicity, just like you do Legos!
