Apple's iPhone lineup may be seeing a trio of new additions, and all by year's end, if analyst Peter Misek is to be believed.

After checking in with Apple's carrier partners, he brings news that Apple will likely introduce a 32 gigabyte model, arriving in multiple colors within the next six months. In addition, Misek posits that before year's end we'll be seeing a pair of new, more affordable additions to the iPhone family in the form of a model targeted at the Indian and Chinese markets modeled on the original 2.5G iPhone, as well as a much smaller, 1/3-size version costing roughly 40% less than current models.

Of course, as with all such analyst predictions, this should be taken with a grain of salt — however, product evolutions such as this are certainly something that Apple is known for doing in the past. An iPhone designed for the emerging mobile markets in India and China is also plausible and could position Apple as a player in two huge and fast-growing markets; India is expected to top 450 million mobile subscribers in 2009, with China recently reporting over 633 million mobile users.
