It seems like almost every big name in the browser game has its own line of smartphones out. While Microsoft and Google only develop smartphone software, Apple, of course, does double duty with hardware as well. It finally looks like Firefox developer Mozilla might be joining the party, as a Mozilla Labs project is putting out its feelers to get feedback from you on what you'd like to see in its first mobile device.

Right now the project is only on paper, putting together mock-ups of phones based on existing handsets. One idea presented as a catalyst to get people talking about new ideas for phones is a combination of a BlackBerry 7130 with an OLED-based keyboard. This way you'd still have the comfortable tactile feedback real buttons provide, but the embedded OLED displays would let you customize the buttons, switching from a QWERTY keyboard to dedicate music playback or video game controls. This could be extremely useful for people trying to type in other languages, with the keys able to adapt and display other character sets.

The developers are soliciting comments on just what the phone needs to be for it to be a Mozilla phone, whether that means open application development, or a focus on a customizable experience with user-chosen extensions. They're also trying to get some ideas on ways to further revolutionize how you'd interact with the phone. Do you think multi-touch is great, but you have some thoughts on how to make it even better? Head over to mozphone.com and let Mozilla know.

I want a 3G phone that has a real keyboard like the G1, My wife's iphone is hard to use the virtual keyboard, also needs a touch screen though for apps and browsing and calls, should have GPS,email, video and audio, should have up to 32 gig on-board memory with a SD slot for maneuverability without having to sync.. should be sync-able with iTunes and other player software programs.
Should be able to sync to both PC and MAC desktops.

"should be sync-able with iTunes" is a pretty limiting requirement. Until the EU forces Apple's hand, it will never let non-Apple devices sync with iTunes.
