It's time to get those rock star music lessons started; iLife '09 will become available tomorrow. It will be going on sale at stores that sell Apple products and shipping with all new Mac computers. The software suite includes updated versions of iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, iWeb, and GarageBand.

We say it's time to get those rock star music lessons started cause that's a feature of the new GarageBand; video lessons from actual rock stars. You'll have to pay to download many of those at $5 a pop, though. Other new features include automated face and place tagging in iPhoto, along with Facebook and Flickr integration. iMovie now auto-adjusts shaky camera footage and can create animated maps for insertion in your travel videos among other things.

iLife '09 comes free with new Macs, but if you have an old Mac you can buy it for $79. If you've bought a Mac since January 6th, Apple will send you an upgrade for $10. There's also a family pack for installation on up to five computers for $99, and a bundle with the OS X operating system and iWork '09 for $169.
