The latest set of blurry pics of an as-of-yet-unreleased phone are making the rounds online, this time depicting what looks like it might be the next HTC Android phone coming to the U.S., the T-Mobile G2.

Unlike the G1 slider, these pics show a handset with a unified body, so any text entry would have to be with an on-screen keyboard. At the same time, though, that should lead to a slimmer, lighter handset. A lot of people complained about the G1's "chin", the angled edge with the mouthpiece. While this model still seems to have the same basic design, the edges look smoother and the angle less severe.

These pics made a light bulb go off in our heads, so we pulled up the forum post where we found a big list of upcoming HTC phones. Scrolling through it, this possible G2 candidate looks like the Sapphire 2.0, which those leaked pics identify as a T-Mobile phone.

We wish we had more pics, or even better, a first-hand account from whomever took them. All we've learned is that this phone will have a 3.2-megapixel camera, and will supposedly be available in May. We'll keep you posted as we learn more.
