According to an IGN report citing multiple sources close to Nintendo, the Nintendo DSi portable gaming console that has been available in Japan since November of last year will be arriving in the U.S. on April 4th for a price of $179, which is currently less than the ¥18,900 (about $210) that the DSi costs in Japan. The Nintendo DSi improves upon the Nintendo DS Lite, although Nintendo plans to keep both models in production simultaneously, by adding a built-in camera, an SD Card slot for expansion upon the internal memory, and access via WiFi to a new DSiWare store with downloadable DSi games and content.
