Lenovo has three new additions to its IdeaCentre line of desktop computers, including the company's first nettop device. The H200 is the Atom-powered nettop, running with cookie-cutter netbook specs of a 1.6 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM. The $300 base model comes with a 160 GB hard drive and runs Windows Vista. If you want to get any sort of decent performance out of it though, you'd probably be better off throwing in another $40, for which Lenovo will double your hard drive and memory sizes. Oddly, the system seems to come with a DVD-ROM drive instead of a burner, so you'll be unable to make new discs.

If you're looking for a more powerful, full-fledged desktop, Lenovo's got two other new IdeaCentre models, the K220 and K230. The K220 ranges in price from $540 to $900 and includes options for dual or quad-core Intel Core 2 chips, 2 to 4 GB of memory, hard drives up to a terabyte, and either integrated Intel graphics or an NVIDIA GeForce 9300GE.

The K230 is a slightly more powerful system, being sold in configurations ranging from $500 to $1300. It also has a choice of dual or quad-core CPUs, but you can get chips with even higher clock speeds than are available for the K220. There's the same choices for the video chipset and hard drives. The big difference for K230 systems is a greater memory capacity, with the base model shipping with 5GB of RAM and the highest-end configuration sporting 8 GB. Most of these configurations are also available with a Blu-ray drive. All are available for order through Lenovo's site, with the H200 available now and the K-series desktops shipping in a week or two.

Im looking to connect my tv to the Internet for basic internet use and also for watching/downloading/streaming movies. I have a 1080p television and I'd like to take advantage of it's capabilities. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good nettop for a good price? Also, in addition to having a Blue- Ray drive (which would be great to have), can't a PS3 (or wii, or xbox 360...) do all of this?
Thanks for any help you can provide. I'm lost...
