Polaroid is showing off a new digital version of its iconic instant printing camera. The Polaroid PoGo (CZA-05300B) puts a photo printer and a five megapixel digital camera together into a portable 10 oz. body. The camera allows you to view and crop your images before printing as well as add borders (including one that makes your photo look like a traditional Polaroid picture).

If you miss the instant gratification of printing your photos out on the spot then this could be a decent option. Photos printed on the camera are printed on a 2 x 3-inch smudge-proof, water-resistant sticker, so they’re not exactly a replacement for regular prints, but they can be a fun option when you’re on the go and want to share a particular shot with friends. Each photo takes around 40 seconds to print and the camera should be able to handle 20 prints on a single battery charge.

It's a digital version of the iconic Polaroid camera; besides the ability to print on the spot you aren’t getting much in the way of a digital camera with the PoGo. The camera saves pictures to an SD card for printing later or saving to your computer but doesn’t have any optical zoom (just 4x digital) so you’ll be stuck with pictures comparable to what you could take with the original Polaroid.

Expect the Poloroid PoGo to become available in March for around $200.
