After mentioning the Windows 7 beta download yesterday, we've been keeping a close look out and although the link has been up for a while, it's not really working too well. Obsessable is trying to grab a copy ourselves, but we keep running into "Server is too busy" error messages. None of that changes the fact that the Windows 7 beta is now available for download via Microsoft. For all of you who are interested in getting a copy, good luck in trying to grab it! Let us know if you do manage to get it in the comments below.

UPDATE: It appears that Microsoft wasn't really ready to release Windows 7 yet, as the page linked to above has now been replaced with a single title bit of text that reads: Windows 7 Beta coming soon! Stay tuned!

What build is this? 7000 like what was leaked or newer?

It's supposed to be newer with a few bug fixes from the leaked version, but I don't know the exact #.

Just got it installed. Still says build 7000.
