Logitech had four big items to promote at the CES this year, including some gaming hardware we got a brief look at last month. The G19 gaming keyboard looks just like the G18 we found a leaked picture of but had no specs for at the time. Its prominent feature is a 320 x 240 color LCD panel mounted front and center, which provides in-game status updates. Rather than take up space on your primary screen showing hit points or displaying you inventory, games supported by Logitech's software can use the keyboard's screen to display that information. The screen's not just limited to games, as you can display photos or videos on it just as easily. The keyboard also features macro support for programming in complex button sequences.

Instead of a new full keyboard, gamers might prefer a slimmed-down version that includes a reduced set of customizable keys. The G13, announced last month, has a smaller LCD screen than the G19 for status messages and supports the same macro scripting to program in commands. The device won the Best of Innovations in Electronic Gaming award at the CES.

The G35 is a surround-sound headset, offering a 7.1-channel experience and noise cancellation. The headset's software simulates the effect of a full surround system, delivered directly to your ears. Integrated earpiece buttons give you control over Logitech's voice-changer program, letting you alter how you sound during in-game chats.

For high-precision pointer control, Logitech is offering the G9x laser mouse. Gamers will appreciate the high sensitivity, adjustable up to 5000 dots per inch, and capable of tracking at up to 150 inches per second. Custom options include the ability to swap the mouse's outer shell to find the most comfortable fit, and an adjustable weight to deliver the desired amount of momentum. All this hardware should be rolling out through April.
