Check out the video below which shows just how thin 1/3 of an inch really is. Panasonic revealed this super thin 8.8mm NeoPDP HDTV display at CES this year, just edging out the previous record set by Pioneer at 9mm for world's thinnest plasma display. To boot, the plasma uses only 1/3 of the energy of Panasonic's 2007 models while achieving the same brightness and three times the luminance efficiency.
