JVC let loose a torrent of new gear upon the CES today, including HDTVs with Blu-ray drives, iPod docks, and excellent color reproduction, digital camcorders with hard disk and SD card recording modes, stand-alone Blu-ray players, and car stereos with Bluetooth and iPod support.

The all-in-one 42-inch 1080p LT-42B300, coming out in June, has an integrated Blu-ray player, freeing up an extra HDMI port for connection to other media devices. Another 42-inch model, the LT-42WX70, covers 96% of the Adobe RGB color gamut, used to make photographic reproductions more lifelike and vibrant, and features 52 individual settings you can use to further tweak its visuals. The set uses an external tuner box to keep the screen itself as small as possible.

TeleDock sets include docks for iPods to play video directly via an on-screen menu. By hooking the TV up to your PC, you can access video content while syncing the media player. The forthcoming TeleDock models include the 31.5-inch LT-32P300, 42-inch LT-42P300 and LT-42P500, and the 45.9-inch LT-46P300 and LT-46P500. JVC is pulling the kind of "size class" stunt we warned you about before, calling its 31.5-inch models "32-inch class" screens. The five TeleDock models will be available in April.

The company also announced a few vanilla sets, the 31.5-inch LT-32J300, 42-inch LT-42J300, 45.9-inch LT-46J300, and 52-inch LT-52J300. The four 1080p screens use a dynamic backlight for an apparent contrast boost and feature three HDMI and two component inputs each. The smaller screens will be out in March, with the LT-52J300 waiting until August to show itself.

There are seven new car stereos on their way from JVC, including the KD-R900 with USB 2.0 connections. The two USB hookups let you plug in an iPod, flash drive, or portable hard disk to access your songs, with the iPod support offering device control through the stereo's faceplate. By attaching the included Bluetooth USB adapter to one of the available ports, you can wirelessly stream music to a supported headset or use your car's speakers and the included mic for hands-free calling over a Bluetooth phone. The $270 stereo should be available in March.

New camcorders in JVC's Everio lineup include the high definition SD-based GZ-HM200, GZ-HD300 with 60 GB HDD, and GZ-HD320 with 120 GB HDD, all recording in 1080p. The cameras with hard drives support optional SD-family cards as well. For recording in standard definition, you can choose from the hard-drive-based 60 GB GZ-MG630, 80 GB GZ-MG670, and 120 GB GZ-MG680, or the compact SD-based GZ-MS120 or GZ-MS130 which adds 16 GB integrated flash memory. All these models should be out by March, ranging in price from $300 to $800.

On the home theater front, JVC is finally releasing its Blu-ray players in the U.S., led by the XV-BP1. The unit support BD Live and AVCHD discs made by HD camcorders. The $300 player should arrive in March. If you're looking for a full home stereo with Blu-ray support, there's the 3.1-channel TH-SB100 system, using a sound bar for directional audio playback. We're not sure if the included Blu-ray player is the same as the XV-BP1, but it certainly supports BD Live and AVCHD as well. The $700 package comes out in April.

If you only need DVD playback from your setup, JVC announced three new 1000 watt 5.1 systems: the base TH-G31 model, the TH-G41 with an iPod dock, and the TH-G51 with wireless rear speakers to make installation easier. Finally, if you're looking for something compact, the 2.1-channel NX-T10 mounts on a wall and provides an iPod dock, DVD playback, and USB support. These systems should be out by summer.

After this flood of products, we wonder how JVC could possibly have anything else lined up for the rest of the year.
