Apple's whole software suite seems to be getting a refresh. The keynote speech at Macworld started out with details about an updated version of iLife, but home use isn't the only thing on the table. iWork '09 is right around the corner, too. iWork includes a word processor called Pages, a presentation program (similar to PowerPoint) called Keynote, and a spreadsheet app called Numbers. All three are seeing some changes and new features.

In addition to new themes and transitions, and animated charts, Keynote most notably will get iPhone integration. An iPhone app called Keynote Remote allows you to view your notes and control your presentation while away from your computer. It's available in the App Store for $0.99.

The new version of Pages includes a fullscreen editing mode, dynamic outlines, 40 new themes, and integration with Numbers. Numbers has new Table categories, 250 functions, and a myriad of smaller new features like mixed chart types and error bars.

Apple is also starting up iWork.com, an online document collaboration service. It'll also let you view your documents from any computer anywhere. It's in a free beta testing stage right now, but it will eventually cost money.

The whole package will cost you $80, and there's a bundle that includes both iWork and iLife for $170.
