HP has a swarm of new products it intends to show off at the CES, including the HP Mini 2140 netbook we just took a look at. Complementing its Firefly gaming laptop, HP is coming out with a desktop model, the Firebird, also designed by Voodoo. Unlike the traditional notion of a gaming desktop as a gargantuan tower with hordes of fans and elaborate lighting setups, the Firebird looks like a lesson in minimalist design. The liquid-cooled system runs a quad-core Intel processor and has graphics powered by two NVIDIA GeForce 9800S cards.

In addition to netbooks, the company will have some full-featured yet lightweight laptops to show off, including the 12.1-inch Pavilion dv2 and the 13.3-inch Pavilion dv3. Whereas the dv2 will be only powered by a single-core AMD Neo processor, the dv3 will feature a dual-core 2.3 GHz AMD Turion chip.

Rounding out HP's offerings, it will have some new digital picture frames coming out, all WiFi-enabled. Ranging from a tiny 3.5 inches up to 10 inches, the LCD screens will connect to online photo sharing sites to let you pull photos to display. HP mentioned the possibility of acquiring pictures sent via MMS from mobile devices, but we don't have any details yet on how that will work. All these products should be rolling out throughout 2009.
