In addition to their new all-in-one desktop computer, the A600, Lenovo will be showing off a new Y Series of midrange laptops at CES this week. The Lenovo IdeaPad Y650 is the largest of the new laptops arriving in March, featuring a 16-inch screen, JBL speakers, an ambient light sensor to help auto adjust screen brightness based on the lighting conditions of wherever you happen to be using the laptop, a light weight of only 5.6 pounds thanks to a carbon fiber shell, and priced at $1,119, Both the Y550 and the Y450 will be priced at $829. The Y550 features a 15.6-inch screen, weighs slightly more than it's larger-screened cousin at six pounds, and the Y450 features a 14-inch screen. All three models come with widescreen displays with the same 1366 x 768 resolution, up to 500GB storage, up to 4GB memory, surround sound, multi-touch touchpads, facial recognition technology, and optional NVIDIA graphics.
