Lenovo has announced the IdeaCentre A600 all-in-one desktop computer featuring a 21.5-inch widescreen display, a choice of Intel Core2 Duo processors, an optional ATI Radeon graphics card with DirectX10 support, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and up to 1TB of hard drive space. The A600 should be arriving in March with the entry level model costing $999. Additionally, there is an optional 4-in-1 remote control that can be used as a motion-sensitive game controller, as a VoIP handset for placing phone calls, as a remote control for the media center functionality of the computer, and as an "air mouse" to control the computer's cursor.

With all these features, and a beginning price of $999, the A600 may be the all-in-one Windows-based PC to compete with Apple's iMac computer.
