There are so many great iPhone and iPod touch applications out there that it would be foolhardy to try to pick favorites (we did anyway), but some of the most popular are music-making apps: Band, Beatmaker, and Ocarina to name a few. Less known is Japanese-made Melody Bell. Its creators have posted a video of an ensemble performance featuring only iPhones (or iPods, we suppose — there's no way to know for sure) running the app.

Continue below to watch the video. For some reason the app isn't yet searchable in the App Store, but if you navigate your web browser to the official product page, there's a iTunes Store link that will bring the App Store entry for Melody Bell up in iTunes on your iPhone, iPod touch, or computer.
