Sling Media, developer of the content-shifting Slingbox platform, is making its products more appealing to smartphone owners, releasing an updated version of its SlingPlayer software for Windows Mobile devices. If you've got a smartphone on this list (click on the red "Phones" tab), you should be good to go; you can make your download straight from that page.

The update adds compatibility with some more recently-released devices, including those with higher resolution screens than previously supported, now as high as 800 x 480. Better double-check that you're on an unlimited data plan before you try streaming a whole bunch of video to your phone, as you're going to need to receive at least 120Kb/s to keep video playing smoothly. If you have the option, definitely try connecting over a WiFi network, as you'll probably get higher and more consistent speeds, anyway.
