UK customers looking for a broadband mobile internet solution that doesn't tie them into a contract can now purchase a "TopUp and Go" USB Modem for £39, or about $60. The modem doubles as a 4GB USB thumbdrive, data that you don't use carries over to the next month, and speeds are supposed to be in the 1-2MBps range.
