Ophone: Lenovo-designed Google Android-based phone

Lenovo, known largely as a laptop manufacturer, is creating its own Google Android-based cellular phone, but it's only coming to China.

The Lenovo-designed Android-based Ophone looks like the baby an iPhone and a BlackBerry Storm would have. It's pretty with a big touchscreen and it's designed to run Google Android. However, unfortunately, the Lenovo-designed phone isn't coming to the U.S. any time soon, as it's an early model of a Chinese phone designed with Android at its core to comply with China Mobile's Open Mobile System. The Ophone will offer integrated support and applications for China's 3G network.

However, we here at Obsessable were pleased to hear about this China-only device, for no other reason than its name reminded us of the Microsoft Windows Mobile Ophone spoof video that debuted back in 2007 to make fun of the iPhone. You can view that video below.
