Nintendo experienced record November sales of the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS in the U.S.

Nintendo managed to sell more than 3.6 million combined Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii consoles in November 2008, according to independent NPD group, which tracks U.S. video game sales. A little over 2 million of those sales were Nintendo Wiis, sales of which set a new non-December sales record. In case you're keeping score, the Wii continues to outsell both the Xbox 360 and the PS3, as it as managed to sell 15.4 million units in the United States since its November 2006 launch; similarly, the Nintendo DS has sold nearly 24.6 million in the United States since its launch in November 2004.
