Starting Sunday, December 14th, Radio Shack will begin offering the Acer Aspire One for $99.99 with a 2-year contract with AT&T for wireless data. Although this news was leaked three days ago, it becomes official today with a press release announcing the beginning of the deal.

If you're eager to get a netbook for less than $100, keep in mind that at about $60 per month for the AT&T contract, the device will cost you about $1539.99 for the life of the contract. Granted, you'll have high speed mobile internet bundled with that deal for two years, but if you're normally near a WiFi spot and rarely travel, this deal is anything but a bargain for you.
