Logitech has another gaming keyboard coming out, the full-sized G18. We just spotted its little brother, the compact, programmable G13 yesterday. Unlike the G13, unfortunately the G18 has precious little information available about it. The keyboard was included in a picture highlighting the G13, giving us all we know about it from what the layout tells us. While the G13 has its text-based status screen, the G18 has a small integrated color LCD. From the looks of it, it should be capable of playing video or animations, and it would make sense for it to connect to your computer over USB, as requiring a whole video card output would severely limit its usefulness.

The other feature differentiating the G18 from a standard keyboard is its assortment of extra keys along the left edge and top row. It wouldn't be too much of an assumption to think these keys work like the G13, programmable in software to provide shortcuts or run game-specific macros. There's no official word from Logitech yet on the model, so hopefully we'll hear something once the G13 is released.
