The Nintendo Wii is already the hottest item this holiday season. If you're planning on picking up a Wii for yourself, a friend, or a family member, you'd better act quickly because Nintendo has said it expects to have supply shortages by Christmastime. The console appeals to a wide variety of folks from toddlers to senior citizens, so demand is high.

Here's your chance: Wal-Mart has a stock of "tens of thousands" of the things and is selling them all in its online store. You can grab the standard system (which comes with the game Wii Sports and one remote) for $250, but there are bundles too, and if the basic package sells out they might be your only option. Fortunately, they're all fair deals, up to and including the $458 Wii Fit bundle, which includes the Wii Balance Board for exercise gaming, one extra game, and one extra accessory of your choice.
