Pictures have leaked of T-Mobile's upcoming camera phone, the eight-megapixel Samsung Memoir. Like the five-megapixel Behold, the Memoir will have a touchscreen and run the TouchWiz user interface. Information on this model is highly speculative — though the phone certainly exists, the name isn't set in stone yet, and a proper feature list isn't available. Bloggers are writing that the phone should support 3G for high-speed data and run a web browser supporting full-HTML rendering. Although some reporters are suggesting the phone may have WiFi reception, that seems unlikely, considering the similarities between the Memoir and the Behold, which also lacked WiFi. The handset should be available early in 2009, with both January and February releases speculated upon.

in a nut shell.. went to tmobile store yesterday.. asked about this phone.. the employee said he was just at a meeting with a tmobile rep. ( jan 26) the rep started talking about the memoir (8mp samsung) she started explaining how the phone worked and such. soon after the tmobe employees were like hey, we didn't get that phone yet. seems as though the rep read an email incorrectly on the release date for this phone. she thought it was out jan 27 which is why she was giving an over view of the phone.. to get to the point the actually release date is February 27.. hope its true.. only time will tell..
