HP Mini 1000 netbook gets cheaper: now available for $360

If you're still mulling over which netbook to buy this holiday, the HP Mini 1000 has become $40 more attractive. Previously, the starting price for the machine was $400, but over the weekend HP dropped it down to $360, only 10 bucks more than the Dell Inspiron Mini 9.
Anywhere wireless internet through 3G technology will still cost you an extra $200, but the cheap base model will let you browse the internet if WiFi is available nearby. No word yet about a price cut for the sexy Vivienne Tam edition, but even if that one drops by $40, it'll still be a high price to pay to be fashionable at $660!
