Flickr, a Yahoo!-owned photo sharing site that we here at Obsessable love to use, released an update to the mobile version of its site: http://m.flickr.com

If you're not familiar with Flickr, free accounts with upload limits are available to all, while purchasing a Flickr Pro account for about $2 a month ensures that you can upload as many photos as you want and browse the site without ads, monitor statistics on how often your photos have been viewed and which are most popular, and you can access and download the original files that you have uploaded to the account.

Browsing through all the photos that you've uploaded online to Flickr while on the go just got streamlined for the iPhone and iPod touch thanks to this update, and Flickr has also added video playback support for both devices by providing Apple QuickTime compatible (and therefore iPod touch and iPhone compatible, since neither device can playback Adobe Flash content) versions of your video files.

Company:
Apple, Yahoo!
Glossary:
Apple QuickTime, Flash, iPod
Product Families:
Apple iPhone, Apple iPod
Products:
Apple iPhone, Apple iPhone 3G, Apple iPod Touch, Apple QuickTime, Flickr

Although this is very cool, it seems a little buggy right now. I tried loading a few videos on my iPhone and some worked fine while others didn't playback at all.
