Amazon HD streaming for TiVo on its way?

A functionless "Available in High Definition" menu item indicates that the TiVo will soon be getting Amazon Video on Demand in HD.

Although there's no official word on the arrival of Amazon HD streaming video on demand service for the TiVo, Twitter user and technology reporter Rich Demuro took the picture above and tweeted: "Look what I just stumbled upon on my TiVo - a new menu selection for @amazon VOD rentals in HD! Awesome! But when you click it nothing happens. Yet. ;)" Although it doesn't work yet, the presence of "Available in High Definition" in the TiVo menu indicates that Amazon HD VOD streaming will be arriving on the TiVo sooner rather than later.
