Yet another pocket-sized "pico" projector is hitting the market, thanks to Ad-Tech and its AD-MP15A. The projector looks very similar to some of the other models we've looked at before, which are tailored for casually checking out low-res video or showing off some still shots. Although Ad-Tech hasn't provided the exact resolution the projector can handle, we know it produces an image in a 4:3 non-widescreen aspect ratio, and probably isn't any higher than 640 x 480. Like the rest, this uses an LED light source, keeping things small, cool, and saving you money on bulb replacements. What's nice about the MP15A is that, unlike some other pico projectors that only do composite video, this one has a VGA input, so you can plug it into your laptop for an impromptu presentation. An internal rechargeable battery gives you about 40 minutes of use. The MP15A will be first available in Japan, but its price tag of around $425 seems a little on the high side, considering 3M's MPro110 only runs $360.
