Black Friday came and went a long (in tech industry terms) time ago, but Cyber Monday — the post-Thanksgiving Monday when a lot of online holiday shopping occurs — is only a few hours behind us. The sales figures are here, and netbooks were huge sellers at Amazon yesterday. According to PC World, 7 to 10-inch laptops took seven out of 10 of the world's leading e-tailer's top seller spots. Leading examples were Asus' Eee PC 900HA, Acer's Aspire One, and One Laptop Per Child's XO. Even long-time holdouts are joining the party, so the future looks bright for netbooks.
