According to a statement issued by Microsoft yesterday, Black Friday sales of the Xbox 360 trumped sales of Sony's PlayStation 3 by a rate of three Xbox 360s sold to every single PS3 sold.

Microsoft didn't bother mentioning that overall sales of the Nintendo Wii continue to beat out sales of both the PS3 and Xbox 360 with the Wii being the only of the three consoles that manages to turn a by unit profit.
