Computer tech changes quickly, and you just know the laptop you purchased won't be adequate in three years. Capitalizing on this dread is computer manufacturer Fujitsu Siemens, which has announced a program called Lifebook 4 Life on its United Kingdom website. The deal is as follows: pick up a Lifebook-brand laptop, pay a warranty fee of up to £149, and then after three years you'll be able to exchange your (still in good condition) Lifebook for a new one at 110% the value of the one you bought. That isn't the end; you may exchange for a new laptop every three years for the rest of your life, so the "4 Life" bit isn't a misnomer. We haven't found the catch just yet.
