The popular rumor of the moment is that Microsoft may be working on a mobile phone evolved from the Zune to compete with Apple's iPhone. The move would be similar to Apple's move from the iPod to the iPhone, but given the existence of Windows Mobile as a platform existing on a wide variety of devices, there is some question as to whether such a move would really make sense for a company like Microsoft. Although this rumor has reared its head in the past, the current flavor of the rumor posits that Microsoft's phone would be powered by NVIDIA's new Tegra architecture for mobile phones and devices. What do you think? Would you be interested in a Microsoft smartphone?
