Dell Inspiron Mini 9 gets AT&T 3G option for $125

After adding a 32GB SSD option to the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 running Linux, Dell has added an option to have integrated AT&T G3 connectivity installed for $125 when ordering the device running XP. Although there have been rumors of netbooks from other manufacturers being offered at reduced cost, subsidized by the wireless subscription, and in a model similar to what is found with cellphones, signing up for a 2-year contract with AT&T will only provide a $120 rebate that helps pay for the installation of the 3G card itself with no added savings to the Mini 9. Also, you cannot currently order a Linux version of the Dell Mini 9 with integrated 3G, and since you cannot order the 32GB SSD upgrade on the Windows XP models, you cannot have both integrated 3G and 32GB SSD on the Dell Mini 9 at this point.
