Nokia announced the Nokia 6260 slide today. Due to arrive in Q1 2009 for about 299 Euros (or about $387 U.S. at current exchange rates), the Nokia 6260 slide is a media savvy feature phone featuring a 5-megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and a dual-LED flash, the ability to record MPEG-4 VGA at up to 15 frames per second, assisted GPS support (AGPS) with pre-installed Nokia maps on the included 1GB microSD card, and support for uploading photos and videos to Nokia's Ovi service. 

The 6260 runs the S40 Symbian OS, can support up to 8GB microSD cards, has built-in support for both WiFi and Bluetooth, and a 2.4-inch display. The Nokia 6260 slide supports quad-band GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity. Nokia claims that the phone has enough battery to support four hours of 3G talk time / six hours of talk time over GSM with up to 370 hours of standby on 3G and 400 hours on GSM.
