UPDATE 11.25.08 — Motorola has officially revealed the phone, dubbed the "Hint", putting up a page for it on the company's website. New specs posted put an 8GB limit on microSD cards, down from the 32GB previously reported, reveal the 2.5-inch screen to have a 320 x 240 resolution, and set the phone's weight at 4.23 oz. Motorola estimates the Hint's battery life at 4.5 hours of talk time. The cellular radio will support quad-band CDMA with EVDO data. MP3 playback has been confirmed, and the phone will apparently feature easy access to music controls with buttons on the device's face. There's still no word on a release date.

Motorola's MOTO QA30 has been spotted in pictures posted to a mobile phones forum, offering a first look at the device. The 3G handset runs on CDMA networks and has an oddly compact form-factor, similar to Samsung's Propel, sliding vertically to reveal a BlackBerry-like QWERTY thumbboard. The device sports a two-megapixel camera and takes microSD cards for media storage, supporting cards up to 32GB. Though lacking the power of a full smartphone, the QA30 features a full-HTML web browser and social networking functions, with integration to Facebook for posting images and videos directly from the phone. This trimmed-down interface focusing on messaging and socializing makes the QA30 seem targeted at teenagers. The phone should be available through Alltel when it launches, though there's no information yet on a date or price.

For sure you have already heard of QWERTY, the standard layout for a lot of Roman alphabet computer keyboards, although they mostly pertain to English language countries. The name QWERTY was derived from the first six characters on the top of the alphabet line of a keyboard. Phones that featured the QWERTY keypad (look over at the Q, and proceed to the right) used to require an online cash advance to get, but now they are becoming commonplace. In the era of text messaging, demand is for full service keypads instead of numerical (regular phone) keypads. If you're more of a mobile e-mail and text message person, you might look into an online cash advance for a QWERTY phone.
