MSI showed off its VR220 YA Edition laptop, a 12.1-inch model available in blue, pink, or green. The colorful model is quite svelte, only slightly larger than the biggest netbooks, and weighs in just under four pounds. The VR220 runs a dual-core Celeron and supports up to 4GB of memory. System specs are pretty standard for a low-to-mid-range laptop this size, with 802.11 b/g WiFi, three USB 2.0 ports, and multi-mode CD/DVD burner. MSI sells the system with a choice of 160GB, 250GB, or 320GB hard drives, starting around $700.
