What would appear to be an early 2007 prototype of Apple's MacBook Air laptop was recently sold on eBay for $730. MacRumors forum member Brett33 bought the device thinking he was getting a bargain on a MacBook Air, but found a device very similar to a MacBook Air with a black metal bottom casing and serial number that indicates that it may be an early prototype of the Air.
