LG is finally releasing the Prada II, a touchscreen smartphone with slide-out QWERTY thumbboard. The quad-band GSM phone receives dual-band UMTS 3G as well as EDGE data and 802.11 b/g WiFi. In addition to a main five-megapixel autofocus camera, there's a smaller secondary front-facing camera for teleconferencing. The Prada's screen measures three inches diagonally and features a 240 x 400 resolution and haptic feedback for touchscreen inputs. Media-wise, the phone accepts microSD flash cards and plays a standard assortment of files, including MP3, AAC, and H.264 video. A high-fashion phone needs its accessories, so LG is also releasing the Prada Link, a Bluetooth-enabled wristwatch. The Link features a white OLED display which alerts you to incoming calls, showing caller information on its screen and letting you choose to accept or reject the call. The Prada II is available in Europe now, costing around $700.
