AT&T has begun selling LG's Incite smartphone for use on its wireless network. The Windows Mobile 6.1 device features a 3-inch 240 x 400 haptic feedback touchscreen, using the phone's accelerometer to adjust orientation, just like the iPhone. The phone features quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS 3G reception for compatibility with global networks. Where UMTS isn't available, the device falls back to EDGE data, with WiFi an option if you're near a hotspot. The Incite takes microSD cards for expansion, using Windows Media Player for compatibility in playing back stored media files, or can stream XM Satellite Radio or Pandora over a data connection. The phone's camera weighs in a three megapixels, and the device does the standard aGPS job, letting you run Windows Mobile navigation software to get around. After contracts and rebates, AT&T is selling the Incite for around $200, putting it in direct competition with the iPhone.
