AT&T has begun offering Samsung's Eternity, a full-touchscreen 3G mobile handset. The Eternity has a 3.2-inch 240 x 400 screen with haptic feedback for the touch interface. The phone has the standard assortment of features we've come to expect from an iPhone-like device: accelerometer, Bluetooth, three-megapixel camera, and multimedia playback. The Eternity uses microSD cards for media storage, accepting cards up to 8GB. Unlike the iPhone, it doesn't look like the Eternity will be getting any sort of app store from AT&T, limiting the device's functionality. The phone is compatible with AT&T mobile services like AT&T Mobile TV and AT&T Mobile music and is available now, running around $150 after contracts and rebates.
