Netflix ending HD DVD rentals on December 15th

Netflix has announced that it will be phasing out all rentals of HD DVDs on December 15th. If you currently have HD DVDs in your Netflix rental queue, those items will be replaced with the DVD versions of the movies beginning December 15th. Netflix announced the change via an email sent out to its customers.
