Belkin is releasing a cable designed to help automate migration from a PC to a Mac. The company claims the Switch-to-Mac cable will transfer all of your media and documents from your old PC over to your new Macintosh. It won't do a full backup, as there's no point in transferring PC-specific programs and their associated data. For this convenience, you'll have to shell out $50, but there are plenty of cheaper options out there. Apple stores will help you with the transition, or you could do it yourself with a simple $5 network crossover cable, even if you don't have a router. Apple has a page up full of advice on making the move. If you just don't want to have to think about the process at all, though, the Belkin solution looks like an easy one-step option.
